# Rangers: Supporter’s tweet about Alfredo Morelos and Florian Kamberi splits opinion among these fans

**Plenty of Rangers fans have been reacting to a post from ‘Gers supporter Chris McLaughlin on Twitter ([@Chr1sMcLaughlin](https://twitter.com/Chr1sMcLaughlin/status/1229070768211972098)) in which he suggested that Florian Kamberi should come into the team in place of Alfredo Morelos, with many of the Ibrox faithful divided on the subject.**

While Morelos is the [top scorer](https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/glasgow-rangers/leistungsdaten/verein/124) in Steven Gerrard’s squad with [29 goals](https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/alfredo-morelos/leistungsdaten/spieler/338962) this season, he is now scoreless in five Premiership appearances since the winter break, with his last league goal coming nearly two months ago (as per [TransferMarkt](https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/alfredo-morelos/leistungsdaten/spieler/338962)). He had the ball in the net against Livingston on Sunday but the goal was [disallowed for offside](https://www.bbc.com/sport/football/51423860), the second successive game in which he had a goal ruled out after the [Kilmarnock match](https://www.skysports.com/football/kilmarnock-vs-rangers/report/411373) last week.

Kamberi [came off the bench](https://www.bbc.com/sport/football/51423860) against Livingston and has [yet to start a league game for Rangers](https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/florian-kamberi/leistungsdaten/spieler/284020) since [joining on loan from Hibernian](https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/51320705) last month, although he too [had a goal disallowed on Sunday](https://www.bbc.com/sport/football/51423860). The topic of him potentially replacing Morelos in the team, as suggested by McLaughlin, drew mixed opinion from these ‘Gers fans on Twitter – some agreed with the proposed move while others stated that the two strikers should play up top together:

> I’d say so, Alfie playing as if the world is on his shoulders…

> Could they play together? But then again that’s means changing formation and we don’t seem to like doing that
