# Real Madrid: Fans praise Eden Hazard after positive performance against Eibar

**Real Madrid cruised to victory against Eibar over the weekend, thrashing them 4-0 away from home.**

Goals from Karim Benzema (2), Sergio Ramos and Federico Valverde secured the spoils for Los Blancos to ensure they retain pressure on La Liga front-runners Barcelona heading into the international break.

Zinedine Zidane’s men have been emphatic this past week, scoring a total of 10 goals in their last two outings against Galatasaray and Eibar.

Summer signing Eden Hazard put in another solid display on Saturday, [assisting once](https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/eden-hazard/leistungsdaten/spieler/50202) whilst completing a total of 7 successful dribbles (per [WhoScored](https://www.whoscored.com/Matches/1394280/LiveStatistics/Spain-LaLiga-2019-2020-Eibar-Real-Madrid)).

The Belgian has come in for some [criticism](https://en.as.com/en/2019/10/14/football/1571056519_816014.html) since arriving in the Spanish capital due to his lack of goals ([1 so far](https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/eden-hazard/leistungsdaten/spieler/50202)), though is now starting to prove his worth at the Bernabeu.

Madrid fans were delighted with Hazard’s performance this weekend, with many taking to Twitter to express their views on the 28-year-old’s contribution.

> Anyways, Im enjoying Real Madrid games so far. I hope they can carry on this form even after the international break. Hazard’s stats may look bad but he is definitely bossing the left wing and playing really good recently. [#HalaMadrid](https://twitter.com/hashtag/HalaMadrid?src=hash&ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw)
