Kroos has started [all but one](https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/toni-kroos/leistungsdaten/spieler/31909) of Real Madrid’s fixtures in La Liga and Europe this season – missing one match through [injury](https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/toni-kroos/leistungsdaten/spieler/31909) – highlighting his importance in Zinedine Zidane’s side.

Los Blancos currently sit second in [La Liga](https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/spanish-la-liga/table), behind leaders Barcelona on goal difference alone, but could leapfrog the Blaugrana with a victory away at Eibar today, should Barca fail to beat Celta Vigo in their league encounter this weekend.

Deemed to be one of the world’s [best](https://www.bundesliga.com/en/bundesliga/news/toni-kroos-real-madrid-bayern-munich-germany-made-in-bundesliga-5841) central midfielders, Kroos is loved among Los Blancos supporters, with many fans lauding him on social media after Real Madrid revealed his exceptional passing statistics on [Twitter](https://twitter.com/realmadriden/status/1192751975533821952).
