# Real Madrid will not appeal David De Gea transfer decision

This is despite a fee being agreed for the player and Keylor Navas even agreeing to go in the opposite direction, passing a medical to boot, and now it seems that after paperwork was sent to La Liga too late, everyone will remain where they are.

That has [reportedly left Real Madrid furious,](https://www.skysports.com/football/news/11667/9974926/david-de-gea-transfer-from-manchester-united-to-real-madrid-what-went-wrong)the Spanish press claiming this is payback for Sergio Ramos, and De Gea left with a special suit he can’t wear and in tears.

This is clearly a bad scenario for all involved, and quite if United want to keep a very unhappy player for another year and then lose him on a free remains to be seen!
