![wengerrrr](https://cdn.footballtransfertavern.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/09/wengerrrr-500x335.jpg)Arsenal fans in the Transfer Tavern are passing time as they wait for this evening’s Champions League showdown by playing pool and discussing transfer rumours.

A major source of discussion today has proved to be reports from [French outlet *Buzzsport,* who have revealed Arsenal’s 10-man January shortlist.](https://metro.co.uk/2015/12/08/arsenal-tracking-10-players-ahead-of-january-transfer-window-report-5553066/)

Arsenal are expected to be active in the transfer window as they bolster their squad for the second-half of their title push, whilst the wealth of injury problems has also left it’s mark heading into a crucial stage of the season.

Therefore, [it’s no surprise to see the likes of Ilkay Gundogan, William Carvalho, Adrien Rabiot and Lars Bender as targets that Arsenal want to improve their midfield](https://metro.co.uk/2015/12/08/arsenal-tracking-10-players-ahead-of-january-transfer-window-report-5553066/)– with Francis Coquelin and Santi Cazorla both out for some time.

[More ambitious targets include Real Madrid duo Karim Benzema and Isco](https://metro.co.uk/2015/12/08/arsenal-tracking-10-players-ahead-of-january-transfer-window-report-5553066/), who would both be major coups for the Gunners if they could defy the odds and land such a mammoth signing.

Arsenal fans are now debating who should be prioritised from the shortlist, stating that Isco, Ruben Neves and William Carvalho would be the perfect additions.
