# Revealed: Man United’s attacking shortlist for January window

[Spanish outlet *Don Balon* state Louis Van Gaal has prioritised three attackers to pursue in January in the form of Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, Arjen Robben and Edinson Cavani.](https://www.donbalon.com/noticia/detalle/18493/la-mareante-lista-de-delanteros-que-el-united-busca-tantear-en-navidades)

Arguably the most exciting addition would be Borussia Dortmund forward Aubameyang, who has a stunning record of 25 goals in 22 games so far this season.

However, Bayern Munich’s Robben fits the criteria of a pacy winger that Louis Van Gaal wants and he has links with his compatriot, working with the Dutch manager twice before with Bayern and at international level.

Finally, Cavani would add a world-class striker to United’s line-up that they’re craving but it would be an immense challenge to lure him away with Paris Saint-Germain.

Whilst United fans enjoying their evening in the beer garden are happy to see their side eying big targets, they do concede Van Gaal is being too ambitious.
