# Liverpool: Fans discuss Mirror report on Rhian Brewster and Xherdan Shaqiri

**Liverpool will be hoping Rhian Brewster continues to benefit from his loan spell at Swansea when the season finally resumes.**

The 20-year-old made the switch to the Welsh club in January, and has since done well for the Swans, scoring [four](https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/rhian-brewster/leistungsdatendetails/spieler/406560) goals in his first 11 matches. After making just three appearances for the Reds before the temporary transfer, he is showing why he is regarded as one for the future at the club.

[According to The Mirror](https://www.mirror.co.uk/sport/football/transfer-news/liverpools-plan-curtis-jones-youngster-21860077), he may already be a part of the Liverpool squad next term. They say that Jurgen Klopp is ready to sell Xherdan Shaqiri this summer for £25m so that there is a path for the Englishman to the first team – he does not want the Switzerland international to be an obstacle.

This was shared by Twitter page Anfield Edition, and it has got the club’s supporters talking. You can see some of the best comments from the social media platform below.

> Klopp gonna swap a player who can play in 2/3 positions with someone who can only play in 1 and not even the same ones. Very unklopp like

> Harsh on Shaqiri. I know injuries are an issue but he’s been quality when he has played.
