# Rio Ferdinand In World Cup Bribe Scandal

[![Rio Ferdinand](https://cdn.footballtransfertavern.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/12/rio-150x150.jpg)](https://www.footballtransfertavern.com/2010/12/premiership/manchester-united/rio-ferdinand-in-world-cup-bribe-scandal/attachment/rio-2/)This was too funny not to post something about, but Rio Ferdinand has used social networking site *Twitter* in an attempt to bribe Sepp Blatter into giving England the 2018 Fifa World Cup.

Ferdinand tweeted @ 14:42, roughly half an hour before the decision is set to be made the following:

***“Give us the World cup please Mr Blatter, I’ll sort u free tickets 2 games I swear down!!”***

I’m sure the President of Fifa already has access to free tickets, to any game, anywhere, in the World.

God I love football.
