# Wolves: Fans hail Ruben Neves after sending heartfelt message to Conor Coady

**Many [Wolves](https://www.footballtransfertavern.com/wolves-transfer-rumours/) fans were in awe of Ruben Neves after he offered his congratulations to Conor Coady for scoring for England.**

Nuno Espirito Santo’s captain found the net for the Three Lions in only his second outing for Gareth Southgate’s men after their [3-0](https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/54366319) victory against Wales on Thursday.

Coady ghosted in at the far post to head in Kieran Trippier’s cross and double England’s lead on the night. This led to Neves posting a video (via the [club’s official Twitter account](https://twitter.com/Wolves/status/1314582390665211904)) stating his delight at Coady’s goal and jokingly questioning what he was doing in the opponent’s box.

The 23-year-old Portuguese midfielder, who has scored [15](https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/ruben-neves/leistungsdatendetails/spieler/225161/verein/543) goals in [141](https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/ruben-neves/leistungsdatendetails/spieler/225161/verein/543) appearances for Wolves, added that the captain should “keep on going” and said it was a pleasure to play alongside him.

To no-one’s surprise, a lot of the Molineux faithful were delighted to hear Neves’ words and applauded the tremendous spirit that has been generated among the team, with one fan admitting that he was a tad “emotional” over it all:
