# Saha remains on Wenger’s radar

[![](https://cdn.footballtransfertavern.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/01/Louis-Saha-001-150x150.jpg)](https://cdn.footballtransfertavern.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/01/Louis-Saha-001.jpg)Arsenal are considering a move for Louis Saha after his talks with Everton over a new contract have hit a snag, according to reports in the **Daily Mail**.

The 31 year old Frenchman is said to demanding £60k a week for 3 years but Everton are worried that Saha still seems to be prone to picking up injuries so such a lengthy deal will not provide value for money and would prefer a shorter deal with bonus payments.

Arsenal, Tottenham and Liverpool are all said to be monitoring Saha’s situation as he becomes a free agent in the summer and Wenger is said to be willing to again break his policy of not offering players over 30 more than 1 year contracts.

Despite various injuries ruling him out this season Saha has managed to score 12 times in 21 appearances including 1 against Arsenal as the Toffees lost 6-1 to Wenger’s men on the opening day of the season.

Wenger, who when asked about France’s World Cup squad last week, said of Saha,

> ‘When Saha plays 10 games on the trot you can compare him with any striker.’

thus a two year deal with an option to extend it by one could be on the cards for the former Man United hitman.
