2 players who should follow Tyler Roberts to Rangers in January if he joins

It hasn’t been an overly wonderful campaign for Rangers supporters in the Transfer Tavern so far, with the Gers already well behind Scottish Premiership leaders Celtic in the race for the title come the end of the season.

Pedro Caixinha was sacked as manager of the club back in October over overseeing a sluggish start to the campaign, which included a humiliating defeat at the hands of Luxembourg minnows Progres Niederkorn in qualifying for the Europa League back in July. Former Reading and Southampton defender Graeme Murty then took over on an interim basis but this month has been confirmed as the Gers’ boss for the remainder of the season, as the Scottish giants seek to bridge the gap between themselves and Brendan Rodgers’ Celtic, which stood at 11 points on Christmas Day.

In the meantime though, there has been plenty for our resident Rangers fans to get their teeth into, not least recent reports linking them with a move for West Brom youngster Tyler Roberts, who is currently on loan at League One outfit Walsall.

The 18-year-old has only appeared once for the Baggies and that came in a Premier League clash back in May 2016, but he has since then performed well on loan for a few Football League clubs, most notably Shrewsbury Town last term and Walsall this.

And Rangers are reportedly seeking a January move for the young forward in a bid to bolster their attacking ranks, and were a deal for Roberts to materialise, here are TWO other stars who could follow him to Ibrox in the New Year…
