27-year-old likely to miss Rangers’ clash with Steve Clarke’s Kilmarnock

Rangers fans here in the Tavern are hoping that their side can return to winning ways later on today, after suffering another heavy defeat against bitter rivals Celtic.

The Bluenoses will be desperate to get their season back on track as they welcome Kilmarnock to Ibrox later on today, with anything less than three points being seen as a disaster by many of our local residents. And, it doesn’t look as if things are about to get any better, as according to the Scottish Sun’s pre-match team news, Wes Foderingham is likely to miss out again, while Lee Wallace and Kenny Miller remain frozen out.

Rangers will be hoping to return to winning ways after handing Celtic the Scottish Premiership title last time out, but there isn’t many positive signs ahead of today’s match against Kilmarnock.

Indeed, goalkeeper Wes Foderingham is likely to miss out again due to a long-standing shoulder issue, which means that Jak Alnwick will retain his place between the sticks after starting last weekend.

And, Lee Wallace and Kenny Miller remain frozen out from the squad due to a club suspension, as many of our local residents believe that this is one of the main reasons behind their recent run of poor form.

Landlord’s Verdict:

Rangers will head into today’s Scottish Premiership clash looking worse for wear as another defeat may be on its way, with the experience of Lee Wallace and Kenny Miller going missing once again. And, with the forever-reliable Wes Foderingham still out with a shoulder issue, it looks as if Jak Alnwick will have to step up to the plate once again.
