Rangers will be desperate to get back to winning ways after the international break, with aims of securing silverware in Steven Gerrard’s first season.
The Bluenoses will be gutted to have lost their first Old Firm clash of the campaign as they’ll now have to play the chasing game. And, it looks as if one of the club’s star men is dreaming of playing at another club, as according to the Express, Alfredo Morelos has admitted his ambition to leave and play in the Premier League.
Indeed, the Colombian is currently away on international duty and has been slated by many supporters for missing an absolute sitter on his debut.
Worryingly, despite signing a new four-year deal, he would still like to join an English Premier League side, so he may not live out all the years on is contract.
Interestingly, the forward had this to say:
“I dream every day of playing in the Premier League. I want to improve in each training session so I can get there.”
Alfredo Morelos has been in sublime form so far this season and he doesn’t look like slowing down anytime soon.
Although, it appears as if a move to the Premier League is always in his mind and is something that he’s aiming to build towards during his time at Rangers. Indeed, this is acceptable and understandable as every player wants to better themselves and won’t settle for less if an opportunity arises.
