Rangers will have their sights set firmly on securing the Scottish Premiership title in the current campaign having enjoyed an incredible start to life under Steven Gerrard.
The Bluenoses drafted in a number of players over the course of the summer transfer window and it’s fair to say that it has paid off so far. But, Rangers arguably secured their best piece of business yet yesterday, as according to BBC Sport, Alfredo Morelos has signed a new deal at the club until 2022.
Alfredo Morelos has extended his current deal until 2022.
Indeed, Rangers received offers from a whole number of clubs, but the South American has now pledged the next four years of his career to the Scottish club.
This is great news for the Bluenoses as he has played a vital part in their campaign so far and will continue to thrive under the guidance of Steven Gerrard.
Morelos has already found himself in the goals this season and there will be plenty more to come in the current campaign, with four more years of seeing the South American at Ibrox.
Steven Gerrard may just have completed his best piece of business yet as the Bluenoses’ title hopes very much lay in the hands of the forward.
So, Rangers can now focus on meeting their targets and aims without any interruptions as they’ve secured the services of their main man on a long-term deal.
