After the news emerged recently that a club were planning a £7m bid for Rangers captain James Tavernier, we discussed whether the club would accept that or not.
That fee seems absurdly low for a player of Tavernier’s quality, who has been one of the club’s star performers this season. With Rangers challenging for the title this season, they would not want to let this player go for such a cheap fee.
With that in mind, we asked you whether Rangers would accept such a low bid for Tavernier, and these were the results:
While the majority of fans do not think that Rangers would accept that bid, there is still a fair portion of fans that think that they will, with 32%. That is an indication that there may be a large selection of fans that do not hold the defender in particularly high esteem. It is yet to be seen what Rangers will do.
