Andrew Dallas spotted training with first-team ahead of Spartak Moscow contest

Rangers return to Europa League action on Thursday when they host Spartak Moscow at Ibrox.

Steven Gerrard will want to see improvements from his team following a rather poor display at the weekend, although their form in the competition has been almost perfect.

The Light Blues held Villarreal to a draw in Spain, whilst recording an impressive victory against Rapid Wien last time out at Ibrox.

The Gers will know a win against a managerless Spartak will help to further ease their chances of qualifying for the next stage of the competition.

And, it appears that Gerrard could look to use some of his youngsters for the game against the Russian giants.

The club posted a gallery of photos on their official Instagram profile and young Andrew Dallas can be spotted joining in with the first-team.

The 19-year-old has been impressing in the developmental ranks, frequently scoring and his form has been rewarded with a call-up to the senior squad.

The Verdict:

Dallas is certainly an exciting prospect and could be handed a chance to feature for Rangers on Thursday night.

He has shown what he is capable of producing in the developmental side and Gerrard appears to have been impressed enough by what he has seen to include him in a training session before a vital match against Spartak Moscow.

However, with the likes of Alfredo Morelos, Kyle Lafferty and even Umar Sadiq available, it may just be a case of giving the 19-year-old a taste of what being in the Europa League is all about and may have to wait for his chance to impress in the first-team.
