The Rangers fans in the Transfer Tavern have been loving their clubs Twitter post, sharing pictures of Connor Goldson as he’s joined up with his new club for the first time since agreeing on a deal to swap the Amex Stadium for Ibrox. Rangers’ official Twitter account shared pictures of him with James Tavernier, and the fans seem to think there might be a friendship brewing.

So far the Steven Gerrard has been a dream come true for the Gers. The club have brought in six new signings, with Goldson the latest to make the move to Glasgow in the revamp of the squad. The fans have also had reasons to celebrate as some players have left the club too, with Michael O’Halloran’s departure being confirmed this morning on the Rangers website, to the joy of many of our local Bluenoses.
However, the news that fans really get excited over is when players join the club. Connor Goldson was announced last week and the fans will be looking forward to seeing how he gets on for the Gers alongside the likes of James Tavernier and new fellow new signing Nikola Katic at the heart of Steven Gerrard’s new look Ibrox back line. The club will be back in action early this season too, as they face a Europa League play-off rounds that are yet to be drawn.
