Birmingham City will be desperate to secure a positive result at St Andrew’s against Swansea City tomorrow, as defeat could make their slim hopes of securing a play-off place disappear.
The Blues have certainly improved in the current campaign under the guidance of Garry Monk, but they’ve lacked defensive solidity in recent games in the Championship.
However, it appears as if the Midlands club are eyeing a possible swoop, as according to The Express, Birmingham City are among suitors for Celtic’s Lewis Morgan.
Birmingham City are interested in Scotland international Lewis Morgan, who has struggled to work his way into Brendan Rodgers’ plans in the current campaign.
It comes as no surprise that Birmingham are potential suitors for the winger as they could do with bringing in attacking reinforcements to take the heavy load off Che Adams’ shoulders.
Lewis Morgan, who is valued at £675k (by Transfermarkt), is the kind of player who could completely transform the Blues’ season, with the ability to take their attack to the next level.
Although, with Aberdeen already making moves in an attempt to lure him to Pittodrie, it looks as if Birmingham will struggle to secure his services this month.
