Rangers fans in the Transfer Tavern will be looking forward to their Europa League ties with FK Shkupi as they look to progress to the next round.
There is an air of confidence around Ibrox following the arrival of Steven Gerrard and the number of signings he has made to ensure his squad are in a position to challenge competitively.
The Light Blues have struggled in recent memory to replicate the dominant force they once were, however, the former Liverpool star will be hopeful that the team he has assembled will help bring the glory days back.
In addition to the signings he has made, Gerrard has also been busy clearing some of the players he deemed surplus to requirements, and according to reports in Italy, one man is set to complete his move away from Ibrox.
Gianluca Di Marzio is claiming that Bruno Alves has terminated his contract with the Light Blues, allowing him to complete his switch to Parma and return to the Serie A, following a spell with Cagliari.
Alves will not be considered a loss to Rangers this summer as it was expected that he would be moved on following a disappointing time in Glasgow, with Gerrard making a number of additions at the back.
The veteran defender failed to live up to the heights of what was expected of him and he struggled to make a real impact in the Scottish Premiership.
