Celtic fans in the Transfer Tavern could be in for a testing summer as one of their best players has started to attract some unwanted interest from the Premier League.
Kieran Tierney has been impressive for the Bhoys since he was introduced to the first-team, which saw him rewarded with a six-year contract earlier in the campaign.
However, that new deal does not appear to have put off potential suitors, with the Scottish Sun claiming the likes of Everton could be prepared to make a huge offer to bring him south of the border.
It is being claimed the Toffees could be ready to splash £25million to bring Tierney to Goodison Park this summer, as they look to try and build their squad, whilst Brendan Rodgers has admitted it would be difficult to turn down an ‘astronomical fee’.
Celtic do not want to sell their 21-year-old star, however, the locals will be concerned that he could go if they receive a huge amount of money for him.
The Celtic fans in the Tavern will be concerned that they could lose one of their star players after Rodgers revealed it would be hard to turn down a huge offer. Many will feel confident that Tierney will want to stay at Parkhead, following his decision to sign a long-term contract, however, the prospect of playing Premier League football on huge wages could be too good for the Scotland international to turn down.
