Celtic fans in the Transfer Tavern will be celebrating the club winning their seventh Scottish Premiership title in a row, however, some of the locals will be concerned with some of the interest being created in one of their stars.
The Bhoys sealed their crowning with an emphatic 5-0 victory against Old Firm rivals Rangers at Celtic Park to make the victory even sweeter, with Brendan Rodgers side in place to complete a back-to-back domestic treble once again.
The locals will have been delighted with being able to embarrass the Gers for a second time during April, however, they will be concerned that a number of their players could be attracting interest from clubs south of the border.
According to the Scottish Sun, Kieran Tierney is one of those to be targeted during the summer, with the likes of AFC Bournemouth and Manchester United rumoured to be considering a move. The youngster has been impressive for the Bhoys this season having made 52 appearances and creating 11 assists, as well as chipping in with four goals.
The Celtic fans in the Tavern will be hoping the club can keep hold of the 20-year-old in the summer despite all the interest being shown in him. The punters in the bar have taken to him and will be extremely upset to see him leave Celtic Park, although they would not begrudge him a move to bigger and better things, should the opportunity arrive.
