Celtic fans in the Transfer Tavern will be raising a number of glasses as they toast being officially crowned as Scottish Premiership champions for the seventh time in a row.
The Bhoys sealed their title win with an emphatic 5-0 win against Old Firm rivals Rangers to make the deal sweeter for Brendan Rodgers side, with Odsonne Edouard bagging a first-half brace.
The striker, who is on-loan from Paris Saint-Germain, has played a key role in helping the Hoops to a possible double Treble this year and his teammate Olivier Ntcham believes he should extend his stay beyond the end of the current campaign.
Ntcham has revealed that he hopes the teenage striker can turn his temporary stay into a permanent move but admits he will not try to convince him on what to do.
“The more Osdonne plays the more he improves. He is happy here. I won’t try to persuade him because he is his own man. But he knows how I feel,” he told the Daily Record.
“It helps a lot to have fellow French players. I had two at Genoa as well.
“Even on the pitch, when you don’t understand something they can help you. Kolo has helped us a lot because he can explain that things could be better if you try it another way.
“Selectors in France know we are developing because they come over to see some games.”
The Celtic fans in the Tavern will have been impressed in the contribution the young striker has offered this season, particularly in his matches against Rangers, and the locals would not mind seeing him at Celtic Park in the future on a permanent deal.
