Celtic will head on the road again this weekend when they travel to St. Johnstone in the Scottish Premiership.
Brendan Rodgers’ side have struggled to replicate the dominance that the manager has instilled in them since he joined the club and things have started to look a little woeful for the Hoops.
The Bhoys were beaten in Austria in midweek by Austria Vienna in the Europa League, whilst their Premiership form has not been one to shout about either.
The club currently find themselves six points off of leaders Heart of Midlothian and the pressure appears to be mounting on Rodgers to turn things around quickly.
And things will not be easy on Sunday, as he will be without one of his key men for the trip.
The captain missed out on the Europa League defeat as well and is not expected to make a return until after the international break.
He joins a list that already includes the likes of Kristoffer Ajer and Nir Bitton as those unavailable for selection.
However, Rodgers does have some positive news with Tom Rogic deemed fit to feature after picking up a knock, whilst Filip Benkovic could be in contention after returning to training.
Celtic will need to be at their very best on Sunday as St. Johnstone capable of causing an upset.
Given the way the Parkhead outfit have played recently, that result would not be off the cards and could be further likely with the absence of Brown.
Rodgers will need his players to perform a lot better than they have recently, otherwise, the pressure on his job could become too much to handle soon.
