Celtic fans in the Transfer Tavern will be celebrating after recording another dominant win over Old Firm rivals Rangers, keeping up their hopes of back-to-back domestic trebles alive.
The Hoops defeated Gers at Hampden Park 4-0 on Sunday and booked their place in the Scottish Cup final alongside Motherwell, however, punters may start to become concerned they could lose one of their young talents.
According to the Times, Manchester United scouts were in attendance at the Scotland national stadium to watch the two Old Firm foes go at it again, whilst keeping an eye on Kieran Tierney. The left-back, who has already played over 50 matches this season for the Bhoys, has continued to impress and the Red Devils are one of the latest teams to go and watch how he plays.
Locals will be hoping the 20-year-old, who joined the club at the age of seven, is as committed to Celtic as his contract suggests, with the youngster signing a six-year deal only recently, whilst also stating that he is not thinking about anyone but the Scottish Premiership outfit.
The Celtic fans in the Tavern will be hoping Tierney is one of theirs for many years to come after making a solid name for himself at Celtic Park, however, some of the punters will be concerned that it could be just a matter of time before one of the big clubs in the Premier League come calling with an offer too good to turn down.
