Barcelona could leave door open to Celtic amid reported defender chase

Delighted about the nature of their first season under Brendan Rodgers, the Celtic fans in the Transfer Tavern are entirely optimistic the Bhoys can continue this wonderful run against St. Johnstone tomorrow night.

The Hoops disposed of Albion Rovers with relative ease over the weekend and literally everything about the current setup has proved exciting for the fans propping up the bar. So, reports emanating out of Spanish outlet Mundo Deportivo have only had the celebrations get even more intense.

They claim Barcelona are not overly keen on Falkirk defender Tony Gallacher and are merely considering the 17-year-old as a hypothetical signing for their B team. A raft of sides have recently been reported to have cast keen eyes over the talented teen forward, though the Hoops are said to have ‘knocked the door’.

He looks a real prospect and the notion of seeing a brightly burning Scottish youngster arrive at Parkhead has the punters in the Tavern dancing on the pool tables, though the likes of Manchester United are also thought to have cast keen eyes over his situation.
