Celtic dominated another season domestically whilst struggling in Europe, Rodgers will be setting about trying to improve the Hoops in non-domestic action.
Celtic have well and truly asserted their dominance in Scottish football. Two consecutive treble winning seasons has set in an unprecedented era of success in Parkhead.
The Glasgow side have begun their summer business by bringing in Odsonne Edouard in for a club record fee of £9m. Celtic have brought the striker in on a four-year deal. The 20-year-old looked a great addition on loan from Paris Saint-Germain last season. It is this kind of calibre of player Celtic must bring in to make themselves a force on the European stage.
However, whilst it’s harsh to criticise any player at a club which has just won successive trebles, there are certain players who look like dead wood at Celtic Park and need to be moved on.
