Scottish football fans may not get the same kind of exposure as their Premier League counterparts, but they’re always welcome here in the Transfer Tavern.
And for what the Scottish game lacks in quality, it certainly makes up for in feistiness, controversy and especially humour – exhibit A being former Celtic and current Hibernian manager Neil Lennon.
Lennon’s often portrayed as an aggressive and intense character, having almost come to blows on the touchline more than once throughout his managerial career – not to mention some of the scrapes he became involved in as a Celtic player.
But Lennon, who has successfully guided Hibs back to the top flight this term, has a much calmer, more humorous demeanour when he’s not in the dugout. Earlier today, the Celtic favourite told Twitter he’d been brushing up on his selfie skills, and asked fans to reply with their own selfies.
