Celtic could be set for transfer of forward imminently

Life under Brendan Rodgers has been wonderful to watch for the Celtic fans in the Transfer Tavern as they dance on the pool tables.

The Hoops have entered a new dawn under his watch, a stark contrast to the arduous Ronny Deila era that seemed to drag on for oh so long.

Well, Rodgers’ rapid rebuild could be about to take another turn, following reports from the Scottish Sun.

They claim former Bhoys chief Neil Lennon is aiming to make a move for Kris Commons imminently.

Now in charge of Hibernian, ‘Lenny’s is understood to be aiming to draft the 33-year-old into Easter Road on loan BEFORE the January transfer market.

Currently aiming to win promotion from the Scottish Championship, the Hibees manager is said to be plotting an emergency loan move.

He’s currently in the midst of a midfield injury crisis in Leith, losing the likes of John McGinn, Fraser Fyvie and Dylan McGeouch of late.

Commons, who won a raft of domestic trophies under Lennon at Parkhead, is believed to be keen on a reunion.

Celtic fans, will it be an emotional goodbye for Commons? Let us know below..
