Celtic fans are absolutely in love with star after Twitter post following Zenit win

Celtic fans here in the Tavern are drinking in delight after last night’s win in the Europa League, as European glory is well in reach for the Hoops.

Indeed, Celtic fans are delighted with life in Glasgow as many still envision the 78th minute Callum McGregor goal that sent Celtic Park into a frenzy, with Brendan Rodgers’ side taking the upper hand in their tie with Zenit St Petersburg. For a side that struggled to compete with some of the world’s giants in the glitz and glam of Champions League football, it appears that the Hoops have now found a level playing field in the knockout stages of the Europa League.

But, one player who could always deliver on the big stage is the prolific Moussa Dembele, after scoring goals against Paris Saint-Germain and Barcelona during the past couple of campaigns. And, his performance didn’t stutter with a drop down to the Europa League either, as the Frenchman put it an inspiring display for the Bhoys that helped drive home the win.

With European disappointment being a regular emotion for the Hoops, Dembele expressed his delight after last night’s performance by taking to his personal Twitter account.

Following the player’s post, fans were quick to praise the Frenchman for his performance in last night’s game, and hope that he can rediscover his goalscoring form in the second-leg.

So without further ado, here’s a look at exactly the sort of reaction being given off on social media…
