Celtic handed substantial transfer boost over future of key star

Our Celtic fans here in the Transfer Tavern are very confident of winning the league this season and they’ve been buoyed further by Moussa Dembele’s agent’s recent words.

The Bhoys are flying at the moment in the Scottish Premiership and will surely win the title whilst going unbeaten for the whole campaign is also a distinct possibility.

They’ll be looking to build on that further in the summer, then, with some good signings whilst keeping their best players has to be vital too.

Certainly, keeping Moussa Dembele at the club will be high on Brendan Rodgers’ to-do list and he appears to have been given a very welcome boost.

The young French striker’s agent, Mamadi Fofana, has suggested he’ll be going nowhere for a while – saying (as quoted by The Daily Record🙂

“Moussa doesn’t stress. He signed a four-year deal at Celtic and, in his head, he’ll be at Celtic for those four years.

“If he has to leave, that will happen at the right time, but it’s not in Moussa’s head or my head.”

This news surely has to be welcomed by Celtic fans all over given just how good Dembele has been.

He’s scored goals for fun at Parkhead including a hat-trick against Rangers and goals in the Champions League – highlighting his ability to perform on the big stage.

Meanwhile, our local Celtic punters are very pleased and can’t wait to see the striker develop further.
