Celtic fans in the Transfer Tavern will be celebrating their latest success against Old Firm rivals Rangers to keep their chances of a back-to-back domestic treble alive.
The Bhoys ran out as 4-0 winners as they watched the Gers implode and booked their place in the Scottish Cup final where they will face Motherwell at Hampden Park. Brendan Rodgers’ side will be feeling confident that they can lift the trophy, however, the manager will be looking ahead to the summer as he looks to build his squad.
According to sources for Football Insider, the Hoops are believed to be targeting Queens Park Rangers midfielder Ryan Manning, although they will need to compete with Crystal Palace for his signature.
Reports are stating that Celtic have been interested in the 21-year-old for a while and have been scouting him after he started life at Loftus Road in impressive fashion. He has been in and out of the team this season, however, he has still managed to score two goals and provide one more in his 16 appearances in the Championship.
The Celtic fans in the Tavern will be interested in the developments of bringing Manning to the club, especially with the future of Tom Rogic in doubt. The QPR midfielder is versatile across the middle and can play in a number of positions, which would allow the club to have sufficient cover should they lose the Australian.
