Celtic may make permanent move for exciting Premier League attacker

It’s been a fairly slow month for the Celtic fans here in the Transfer Tavern since the early arrivals of Lewis Morgan and Marvin Compper, so the punters propping up our bar are eager for some rumours and reports on the arrival front.

With that in mind, claims from the Daily Mail of late have proven rather interesting. According to their report, the Scottish giants are keen on a move for Chelsea youngster, as well Lewis Baker. The latter is currently on loan with Middlesbrough but could reportedly be recalled amid interest from Brendan Rodgers, who used to work within the Blues’ academy system.

Meanwhile, Musonda is understood to have attracted interest in the Premier League throughout the course of the January window, though the Hoops are believed to be prepared to either loan or buy the Belgian attacking midfielder, providing the price is feasible.

Keen to see more attacking impetus moved into the squad, the Bhoys in our bar are happy to hear two talented Chelsea youngsters are reportedly on the radar.

Landlord’s Verdict:

Musonda would be quite the coup, especially on a potential permanent deal. A hugely gifted attacker, perhaps he could have an impact akin to that of a fully fit Moussa Dembele, thereby giving Brendan Rodgers another massive boost ahead of their Europa League assault.
