Celtic fans here in the Tavern are already looking forward to next season, as they’ll accept nothing less than another treble.
Brendan Rodgers has established himself as one of the most impressive managers in world football since joining Celtic, as he has managed to secure a number of trophies and titles in Glasgow. Although, the 45-year-old will be desperate for his side to improve in Europe, as they failed to make it out of the Champions League group stage.
Indeed, the Hoops may need to dip into the transfer market for a forward this summer, as their attack could become unstoppable if they manage add another prolific striker to their ranks. So, Rodgers may be keeping a close eye on a couple of potential transfer window targets, as he’ll look to go one better in the next campaign.
Therefore, Celtic will hit the treble if they land this forward…
Raul Jiminez, who is valued at £9 million (by Transfermarkt), currently plays for Benfica over in Portugal.
The Mexican is arguably at his peak, so Celtic should look to capitalise while they can as he would definitely give Moussa Dembele a run for his money.
Encouragingly, he managed to score eight goals this season and provided seven assists for his teammates as a well-rounded attacker. And, with Champions League experience already under his belt, perhaps he will be able to have a positive impact on their European campaign next time around.Like what the TT have on offer?
