Celtic would do well to sign exciting £2.25m-rated Chelsea youngster this summer

The Celtic fans in the Transfer Tavern are pleased to again win the Scottish Premiership but the bigger aim of European success is far from reality.

Celtic have again walked to the Scottish title but as the huge club that they are, they want more. Like many other teams from around the world, Celtic will look to be pro-active in the transfer market and acquire some new stars to take them to the next level.

Our punters believe that Celtic this summer should take a strong interest Jeremie Boga, a player valued at £2.25 million on Transfermarkt. At just 21, Boga is another example of a Chelsea player that spends years out on loan and currently he plays his football with Championship side Birmingham.

Boga has been a prominent face in the Birmingham side this season, having made 35 appearances and scoring two goals and assisting three within those games. The Ivorian is an attacking player who can play on either wing and even as an attacking midfielder which makes him a desirable signing for Celtic. His dribbling and close control is very good for a player so young and with loads of time remaining in his career, Celtic could prove the perfect platform for Jeremie Boga to showcase his terrific ability.

Landlord’s Verdict:

Although some may be put off by his poor record in front of goal for an attacker, Boga brings a lot of fair and chances to a team. With the young winger unlikely to ever get a chance at Chelsea, Celtic should see this as a good opportunity to bring another talented player to Scotland.
