Celtic would help get Europe dream in order with brilliant move for £6.3m-rated Tottenham man

The Celtic fans in the Transfer Tavern are satisfied with another league victory this year but still want to take their team to the next level with strong progression in the European competitions.

The Hoops have again dominated in Scotland however their progress could be hindered should they lose loanee Patrick Roberts permanently, due to having already lost another winger in Charly Musonda. Because of this, our punters think that securing a top winger this summer should be a priority for Celtic, with Tottenham outcast Georges-Kevin N’Koudou, who is valued at £6.3 million on Transfermarkt, being a name that springs to mind as a very capable replacement.

Celtic will want to ensure that they remain ahead of Rangers in the race for the title next season and the signing of N’Koudou could provide the quality to do just that. Although his time in England hasn’t been successful, the Frenchman has shown signs of the player he could become given a move to Celtic for example.

The 23-year-old has tremendous pace, an abundance of skills and trickery and always wants to go at defenders. Given the opportunity to move to Scotland could be very beneficial for his career given how well fellow Frenchman Moussa Dembele has done when moving to Celtic Park.

N’Koudou would also be a huge statement of intent from Celtic because of the hype that surrounded the winger before moving to Tottenham. In hindsight, his move to Spurs has not worked, but the winger could find his true form at a side like Celtic looking for a top winger to take them forward.
