Good news emerging out of Lennoxtown for Celtic fans

These are nervous times for the Celtic fans in the Transfer Tavern, who are desperately hoping the club are able to continue their European adventure into next season.

Facing a tough trip over to Norway to play Rosenborg, the Bhoys in the bar are sweating over their chances of making it into the next round after a relatively frustrating 0-0 in Glasgow last week.

So, reports from the Scottish Sun have gone down a storm today. They’ve revealed that BOTH Leigh Griffiths and Erik Sviatchenko have handed Brendan Rodgers a huge boost by partaking in training at Lennoxtown this morning.

The pair missed the first leg, though are understood to have trained with the group before the team head out to Norway this afternoon, much to the delight of our resident Hoops.

Having operated with Tom Rogic up front last week, our punters clad in green and white are smiling at the mere notion of seeing Griffiths spearhead the attack, in their pursuit of goals.

With Moussa Dembele out injured, the Scotland international’s likely return has delighted our local Celtic supporters.

Landlord’s Verdict

The importance of Griffiths potential return simply cannot be understated. Indeed, the Scotland international was born to score goals and with a slick team behind him, is always likely to notch over in Norway.

If Celtic are going to navigate this trick obstacle, you’d back the former Hibs man to help.
