With Craig Gordon continuing to divide the Hoops propping up the bar, Spanish outlet AS (via Sport Witness) suggests Brendan Rodgers could yet seal another deal for one of his favoured custodians.
The report hints at a domino effect, spreading across three different countries.
According to them, if Tottenham Hotspur are able to pry Espanyol stopper Pau Lopez from Spain to White Hart Lane, the Glasgow giants could be handed a free run at Michel Vorm.
The Dutchman has been linked with a move North of the Border earlier on in the window, having earned his move to Spurs initially while under Rodgers’ tutelage at former club Swansea City.
Perhaps the deal could hinge of their qualification to the Champions League, though Vorm would surely be an upgrade.
