With the Celtic fans in the Transfer Tavern dancing on the pool tables ever since their rather triumphant title win against Hearts, it’s fair to say all is right in green and white.
The Bhoys have run rings around the rest of Scotland and support for the club has been pouring in from all around the world, particularly from the west Midlands in fact.
West Bromwich Albion star James McClean sent our resident Hoops into a frenzy recently when he posted a photo onto his Instagram account of him clad in the famous kit.
As a result, Hoops fans online were begging the Republic of Ireland star to make a move to Glasgow, with the punters in the bar desperately hoping to see the 27-year-old as a summer signing.
However, Baggies boss Tony Pulis has dampened such talk, speaking to the Birmingham Mail. The Welshman has revealed he’ll have a chat with McClean when he’s next in for training about his post, claiming he’s got no idea whether or not a deal could be on the cards.
“I haven’t got a clue,” he said.
“I’ll have a chat with him when he comes in.”
Ah well, it was fun while it lasted for the Celtic fans.
