It’s a huge night for the Celtic fans in the Transfer Tavern as the club prepare for a return to the Champions League.
Indeed, the Bhoys in the bar are excited more than anything to see the likes of Neymar and Kylian Mbappe line up for PSG at Celtic Park tonight and believe Brendan Rodgers’ side could have a trick or two up their sleeve.
Recently, we asked our punters clad in green and white exactly who they wanted to start in the No.10 role, should Rodgers opt to deploy a standard 4-2-3-1 formation.
Though the home side will want to take the game to Les Parisians, they’ll surely only want the one attacking midfielder in order to stop an overrunning in the engine room.
So, we posed them the question: Tom Rogic, Stuart Armstrong or Callum McGregor in that role?
Well, as you can see, Australia international Rogic received the majority of the votes, raking in 56%, while McGregor was backed by only 6% of fans.
With Armstrong seemingly short on confidence, Rogic seems like the natural choice for sure. Able to drop deeper and make use of his physicality, the 24-year-old could be an asset going both forward and back.
