Our Celtic fans here in the Transfer Tavern have certainly enjoyed this season and are eager to see it end in the most perfect way.
Indeed, if Brendan Rodgers can guide his team to seal a treble and a historic unbeaten season in the league he really will go down in Celtic folklore for sure.
But, whilst that is a given, building on things next season is going to be the next challenge.
Indeed, Rodgers will need to show the same kind of player awareness in the market as he did last summer with the likes of Moussa Dembele and Scott Sinclair.
And so, with that in mind, it could be time for the Bhoys to go for another young star eager to prove himself – Enes Unal.
The men from Celtic Park may only be able to get him in on a loan deal but there can be no doubt that the club would profit from having the Manchester City youngster in and around the team.
He’s been on loan at FC Twente this year and has 18 goals in all competitions from 32 appearances to his name suggesting he is more than capable of hitting the back of the net.
And, when you consider that the Eredivisie and the Scottish Premiership are probably about level in terms of quality the suggestion is that Unal would be a real force.
Certainly, Rodgers knows how to get the best out of young players and doing so with Unal may ensure another superb season next time out.
