Brendan Rodgers can afford to be very pleased with how things are going domestically. He has built a squad who have proven they are far superior to anything Scotland has to offer. Rodgers has utilised the loan market well, along with permanent transfers. Players like Odsonne Edouard and Olivier Ntcham have been certified hits at Celtic Park, backed up by talents synonymous with the club like energetic captain Scott Brown.
The Northern Irish manager will have his eyes on a better performance in Europe. The Hoops unceremoniously crashed out of both the Champions League and Europa League last season. Doing better in Europe is the next stage for a club which has been on the up for the last few seasons.
Brendan Rodgers needs to set his eye on progression at Celtic Park despite his ongoing success as boss of the Hoops. Better quality must be continuously brought in, and players not up to scratch must leave the club.
