Celtic will be bracing themselves this summer as they look to fend off interest in one of their key men during the transfer window.
Brendan Rodgers’ side will want to keep their best players at Celtic Park as they look to win another Scottish Premiership title and will also want to be as strong as possible in the Champions League.
One man that is thought to be vital to their plans this season is Olivier Ntcham, who has started the campaign in fine form, however, he has started to attract some unwanted interest.
According to a report in The Daily Record, the Frenchman has become a target for Italian outfit Torino, as they look to bring him back to the country.
The 22-year-old spent two years on loan in Serie A with Genoa before making his switch to the Hoops.
However, the report also states that Celtic are not prepared to sell the France Under-21 international, which could make it difficult for Torino to make a deal.
Ntcham has been considered to be one of Celtic’s best players since he joined from Manchester City in 2017.
The young midfielder is extremely versatile and can provide options in defence as well as attack, having proved that he can come up with a number of vital goals for the Bhoys.
The 22-year-old is expected to continue to progress within the game and Celtic will be hoping they can keep hold of him for as long as possible.
