Confirmed: Celtic announce player exit

Celtic fans here in the Tavern are buzzing with the development of their side in recent times, and sending one of their young talents out on loan will only go to aid the future progression of the club.

Brendan Rodgers’ side have been their normal dominant selves once again this season, as he looks to secure his fifth trophy in what is his second season in charge of the Hoops. However, one player who won’t play any part in the near future for the club is youngster Conor Hazard.

As confirmed on the club’s official website, the youngster has headed to Falkirk on loan.

Indeed, after signing a four-year deal at Celtic last year the 19-year-old is a player that Brendan Rodgers admires, and has high hopes for him to enjoy a successful future at Celtic Park. After Hazard has continued to excel for Celtic in his age-group since making the move from Irish side Cliftonville back in 2014.

And, with the player receiving his first taste of senior football with a move to Falkirk, he’s enjoying the prospect of showing exactly what he can offer to both Celtic and his loan club moving forward. Still, it was always going to be difficult for the teenager to break into the first-team at Celtic Park, with Craig Gordon and Dorus De Vries establishing themselves as immovable in recent times.

Landlord’s Verdict:

This is a move that will benefit the club and the youngster massively, with him receiving regular senior football that could see him make a name for himself with the potential to maybe even force a place in Celtic’s squad for seasons to come.
