Rangers fans here in the Tavern ordered countless rounds last night, as their beloved Gers managed to pull off a magnificent 2-0 victory over Aberdeen. 

Graeme Murty’s side extended their impressive run of form to five games unbeaten, as last night’s victory saw Rangers leapfrog Aberdeen into second place in the Scottish Premier League. Indeed, a first-half goal from the prolific Alfredo Morelos was rounded off by a James Tavernier penalty, in what was a spirited performance from Murty’s men.

However, with Old Firm rivals Celtic still leading the way after bridging an 11 point gap over Rangers, there’s considerable ground to be made up if the Gers are to set their sights on domestic glory.

Although, having put the biggest smile on Rangers fans faces in recent years, the Murty still has his managerial future to play for as he hopes to secure the job full-time come the end of the season.

Nevertheless, with supporters in fine voice after last night’s dominating performance, Rangers’ Twitter account took to showing a post-match interview with manager Graeme Murty.

Following the club’s post, fans were quick to praise the 43-year-old with all he’s achieved during his time at Ibrox, with last night’s victory only adding to the admiration that Gers fans share for their manager.
