Daniel Arzani closing in on Celtic loan

Daniel Arzani closing in on Celtic loan

Celtic have had a quiet summer transfer window so far, however, they could be on the verge of adding another man to their side.

The Bhoys have only added Odsonne Edouard so far, but it is thought Brendan Rodgers would like to still bring in a couple of players to ensure his squad remains capable of retaining their Scottish Premiership title.

And, according to reports in the Daily Record, they could be closing in on a new addition, with Daniel Arzani arriving in the United Kingdom.

The Australia international is expected to join Manchester City from Melbourne City and immediately be sent out on a season-long loan to Celtic.

The 19-year-old is thought to be one of the brightest talents to come out of the country in recent memory and became their youngest ever player to feature at the World Cup this summer.

The Verdict:

Arzani could become a smart addition to Celtic this summer as he would be able to offer them an attacking threat going forward.

The teenager is a versatile attacker as he can operate either just behind the forward or as a winger and would definitely help to bolster their options.

With Tom Rogic and Leo Mazis already in the side, Celtic will be hoping he can make an impact at Celtic Park straight away.
