Steven Gerrard watched his Rangers team take all three points against Rapid Wien on Thursday night in the Europa League.
The Light Blues put in an outstanding performance against the Austrian outfit, putting them top of a group that contains Villarreal and Spartak Moscow.
Rangers had initially fallen behind, however, Alfredo Morelos managed to hit a brace as James Tavernier struck home a penalty to send the Ibrox faithful home with the three points.
Daniel Candeias sent the Colombian forward through in the final moments of the game with a fine back-heeled pass to ensure the Gers had a comfortable end to the game.

Candeias had stated that the Ibrox faithful were “the best supporters in the world”.
Candeias is already a favourite with the fans, however, this will further enhance the relationship he has with the Rangers faithful.
The winger was ever-present for the Light Blues last season, however, this year he has found his time rather limited.
However, if he continues to put in performances like he did against Rapid Wien, he will surely give Gerrard no choice but to put him in his first-team more often in the future.
