The Celtic fans in The Transfer Tavern are gathered around the jukebox discussing the club’s move for a new striker.
BBC Sport is reporting that the Scottish Premier League champions are in advanced talks with Turkish international striker Colin Kazim-Richards.
The striker is currently plying his trade in Holland with Feyenoord in the Dutch top flight and will bring speed and agility to the Celtic forward line.
However, the forward is currently suspended by the Dutch club for threatening a journalist and they are keen for the player to leave the club.
At 29, the striker brings a wealth of experience with him plying his trade in the English Football League, Turkish League and Greek League and he also brings experience of playing in the Champions League.
Those Celtic fans in The Tavern are delighted at the prospect of seeing Kazim-Richards turn out for their club and think he will be a great addition to their squad for the final third of the season.
