The Celtic fans in the Transfer Tavern were celebrating yesterday as they extended their lead at the top of the table with a comprehensive victory over Aberdeen.
After losing their first domestic game in 69, Celtic beat Partick Thistle in midweek to set up a crunch clash with Aberdeen this weekend.
It was first versus second in the Scottish Premiership and Aberdeen had an opportunity to close the gap at the top to just two points.
But Celtic emerged victorious thanks to goals from Mikael Lustig, Jonny Hayes and Olivier Ntcham to stretch the lead at the summit to eight points.
With Rangers failing to win as well, Celtic go eleven points clear of their bitter city rivals and continue their march towards the league title.
Celtic fans were delighted that normal service has resumed in terms of picking up wins and here are the best selection of tweets posted after the game.
only got 68 more games without defeat to beat our record

Patchy 1st half spells aside, dominant display from the champions! Broony bossed midfield, Dembele did well with limited service, Scotty Sinclair was bit wasteful but not worried he'll be back scoring pronto, & happy for Hayes! Mind the 8 & 11 point gaps Sheep and Sevco! #COYBIG

Match report, dominated from start to finish, in front of a rocking full capacity crowd, to go even further clear for Christmas, meanwhile, over in Sevco land…..
Well done today Celtic. Happy Christmas to all connected to Celtic. COYBIG
