Rangers are thought to have their resolve tested as the transfer window finally slams shut later today (Friday).
The Colombia international, who has been rewarded with a national call-up, has been attracting interest from a number of clubs and the Ukrainians are the latest to test the Light Blues’ stance on their hitman.
Steven Gerrard is understandably keen to keep the 22-year-old at the club, despite receiving his second red card of the season last night against FC Ufa in the Europa League, and is thought to have offered Morelos a new contract.
The Ibrox side have stated it would take a huge bid for them to even consider letting the £2.03m-rated (as per Transfermarkt) ace leave and it appears Kiev are ready to test the waters, although Bordeaux are still thought to maintain an interest.
Morelos is crucial to Rangers and it would be a huge blow to the Light Blues if they were to lose him this summer.
The striker has been key to Gerrard’s side already this season, having netted six times in all competitions, however, there may be some concerns about his disciplinary record.
The Colombian has been offered a new contract at Ibrox and with the side qualifying for the Europa League group stages, he could well decide to remain in Scotland beyond the transfer deadline.
