Rangers

Flanagan and Kent have already let Gerrard down

Rangers will still have their eyes set firmly on securing a European place and challenging bitter rivals Celtic in the current campaign.

The Bluenoses have settled down to life under Steven Gerrard quite nicely having secured a place in the Europa League group stages and a promising start to their Scottish Premiership campaign.

However, things haven’t been perfect for Rangers in the current campaign as a couple of players have looked sluggish at times and are yet to really impress the manager. Indeed, Gerrard would have hoped for better rewards having put his trust in a couple of first team members, with doubt creeping into his mind.

With that in mind, these TWO Rangers players have already let Gerrard down…

Jon Flanagan

The former Liverpool defender hasn’t exactly settle down in Scotland just yet as he struggles to keep his discipline at times and looks vulnerable defensively.

Indeed, the 25-year-old has already been given his marching orders since joining the Bluenoses and you wouldn’t rule out another rash decision in the future, so it’s safe to say that the hot-headed defender has let his boss down.

Ryan Kent

Ryan Kent would have been one of the summer signings that most supporters were excited to see at Ibrox during the current campaign, but the winger has failed to really have an impact and often loses the ball in midfield.

So, Gerrard will definitely be disappointed with how the 21-year-old has settled down in his side, with plenty of improvements required if he is to enjoy a regular place in the side at Ibrox.
